Fairytales! There is something about the fairytales that till today I get attracted to it. Recently, I hit the multiplex to catch a 3-D animated Fairytale movie and I loved it! People say that the animated movies are for children and that the fairytales are for children. But I totally disagree!

More than the children, the adults need to watch such movies. Fairytales actually is for everyone to see, for everyone to believe. To know that life is after all a fairytale. There may not be actual witches and wizards in real life, there may not be actual magic happening or an actual prince coming to swept away his princess but the incidents that occur in our life is no less than a fairytale. Every second there are miracles happening around us that we are not aware of. Every time the evil tries to dominate the good through its malicious ways. But in the end it is always good that wins. The good will always dominate the evil in the end.

Sadly, people are forgetting this. They are beginning to lose faith in good. They are losing hope. They are beginning to feel that it’s good to be bad and that to win a race you need to play dirty games. But it’s not that way. It is certainly not! Fairytales teach you simple lessons of life that we in the middle of the journey have forgotten such as to believe in yourself, to believe in good, to love everyone, to be happy, to be friends with everyone, to forgive, to be not disappointed in small failures, to focus on good things, to respect elders, to keep your word, so on and so forth.

Fairytales portrait world in larger-than-life canvas. You are the prince/princess of your fairytale who needs to be strong on their virtues and courageous to face the evil. The witches are like evil people who try to dominate you. You cannot afford to give in to the evil nor can you turn into one of them just because it is the easier option. When you are firm on your virtues, miracles will happen around you to make circumstances in your favor. And in the end, the prince/princess will rule the kingdom!

Life has always been a fairytale but we sometimes do not choose to see that. We ignore the miracles happening in our life and focus on unworthy things: Things that don’t really matter in the end. Get aware of the miracles happening around you and you will see that your life is no less than a fairytale. Simple things such as strong waves hitting the shore is a miracle, you listening to the waves is a miracle, you feel refreshed just listening to the waves is a miracle. You are imagining waves and its sound while reading this is a miracle. Life is made up of such simple moments which bring joy and happiness. And the fairytales depicts the same thing.

So, the next time you feel like watching a movie. Choose a fairytale and experience the simple joys of life! :)

    agar bade log animated movie bana sakte hai.. to hum jaise bade log dekh bhi sakte hai.. ;)

WEIRD RIGHT TURN

I was walking down the street, looking for a gift shop to buy something special for my mom’s birthday. It was a busy street with people moving to and fro. I had already checked out some gift shops but could not find anything special for my mom. I continued searching for other gift shops, with a black leather purse on my shoulder and a cute white dress on me with a silk red ribbon tied around my waist and matching white shoes, when I came across a turn. Breaking Rules

Few days back, I had my third semester exams and I had to travel alone to my examination centre. Moreover, I had to travel by train to reach my examination centre. My exam was going to start at 2pm. When I reached at the railway station, it was already 12.30pm. Surprisingly, the entire platform was crowded. It was like everybody had decided to travel with me in the same train like I am some kind of celebrity. Anyways, the truth behind the crowd struck me when I saw the indicator. It showed 10.35 ST. The trains were late by almost 2 hours. How come the trains want to be late when I want it to be on time? I wanted to do my eleventh hour revision after reaching my examination centre. But with the crowd I was surrounded there, it did not seem like I would even reach there on time to give my exams. I had no option but to wait for the 10.35am train.
