My Ideal Day

Gentle warm rays enter through my balcony and caress my face. A sweet smile spreads across my face feeling the warmth of the sun. I am still on my soft comfy circular bed and my eyes are still closed but I was happy to know that the sun itself has come to wake me up. I roll over and before opening my eyes, I stretched myself. I slowly shift the sky blue colored quilt from me. My bed sheet is of cloud white color. It was like I was sleeping on cloud and covering myself with the sky. I woke up and before getting down from bed, I saw this pink squirrel shaped floaters. I slid my feet into the soft furry floaters. I got up and went towards the balcony.

The balcony is huge comprising of glass doors and the circumference that has steel rod fencing. The balcony also has a basket swing at one end and a white colored tripod and a white chair at the other end. I went to the balcony fence and hold it with both hands. In front of my eyes, there is a view of lifetime. There is greenery everywhere. There are beautiful trees spread across with colorful flowers. It is as if God himself is celebrating Christmas and decorating every tree he could find with different shape, size and colored flowers. All the trees are well maintained as if there was someone who always took care of them. There were green mountains too spread across the horizon and the sun was peeking from the green mountains’ back. It looked like the sun was some small kid who was shying away and afraid to come in front and show its face to everybody.

I smiled on the thought of that and again closed my eyes. I could feel the sun’s rays on my face. It was as if it had come only to meet me and wake me up and to be with me. It wants to play with me and be with me. It cares for me and loves me unconditionally. I joined my hands and thanked him. I thanked God for giving me the sun, for giving this new day, for giving me this life. I stood there for some time and watching the sun slowly rising, slowly losing away its shyness and raising its face bravely.

I left the balcony and went to my attached bathroom. My bathroom is stylish and modern. It has a beautiful designer bath tub attached to one side and shower cabinet at one corner. The other side has a crystal wash basin with an adjacent designer mirror. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I changed my night pajamas into track pants and t-shirt. As I left my room, I met mumma in the corridor; she was coming in my room to wake me up but was amazed to see me already awake. We greeted each other and went together to the meditation room. The meditation room is a pyramid shaped room where the energy is said to converge at the center of the room. The room is cool and breezy. We sat in the center of the room for meditation. After half an hour, we both were refreshed and charged up for the day ahead. We went to the gym room and exercised on treadmill and cycle for another half an hour. The gym room had 5.1 stereo surround systems which played all my favorite songs. It was a pleasure to exercise while listening to all my favorite songs.

I went to my room once I was done with exercising and had a long rejuvenating bath. I came out of the bathroom in a white bath robe. I slid the door of my wardrobe. A number of dresses were lined in my wardrobe. I chose the most cute pink t-shirt and white trousers. I got dressed in 15minutes and rushed to my dad’s room. He was still sleeping with his mouth half open. I went close to him and kissed him on his cheek to wake him up. I asked him to come downstairs for breakfast once he gets ready.

I went downstairs to see my mumma already informing our cook what she wants for lunch and dinner. I went to dining table and sat on my favorite seat. The cooks served dad with tea and omelet and mom with fruit juice and slice of jam bread while I was served with chocolate milkshake and Chocos. We did not need any nudge to start conversing with each other. We kept talking till we finished our breakfast.

Once we were done with our breakfast, dad left for attending his voluntary service committee meeting. Mom and I wandered in the garden talking about things that didn’t matter but still were great topics to talk of. Mom and I went to her room and I connected her to my brother through video chatting. My brother is in US studying in MIT. I greeted my brother and left mom and son alone to carry on the conversation.

I came to my room and turned on my laptop. I sat in the basket swing with my laptop and continued writing beautiful stories. Stories that were just in my mind, I started giving them words. I find penning down my thoughts most peaceful thing. It is a great way to bring my thoughts out. I was so indulged into writing that I didn’t realized that it was lunchtime. I was not feeling like having lunch but then my mumma came in my room followed by two other servants. They had brought the lunch with them. The aroma that spread in my room was so delicious and mesmerizing that I couldn’t resist anymore and decided to have my lunch then and there. Mom and I sat in the balcony with the lunch being served by the servants. I love having lunch in the balcony.

Once we were done with the lunch, I asked our driver to pull out our Camry car. I informed him that I was going to drive. Mom and I went downstairs and got into our car. We drove away to the Ghats. I love driving on Ghats. We had rolled up the windows and put on the AC and played my favorite songs all along the journey. We travelled through the Ghats and then reached the peak of the mountain. We got off the car and sat on the bonnet gazing the beautiful nature around us. We sat there until it was late evening. We then drove back to our house.

Dad was back by then. He informed us about the new movie that released and we decided to watch it. We freshened up and I changed into jeans and t-shirt. We had our dinner early as we had to go and book our tickets for the show. This time dad decided to drive. He drove his favorite Sonata car. We all reached the mall on time, booked the tickets, bought some caramel popcorn and sneaked into the theater.

This will be my most ideal day of life!!!!
