The Voice
There is this voice that keeps trying to talk to me Even when I am talking to others, it constantly nudges me even when I am silent, it keeps mumbling to me The voice doesn't stop No matter where I go, what I do, it just wouldn't shut Sometimes it nags me to the point that it scares me Creating the urgency and shouting “Listen to me!” When I actually give my ear to it I find no words coming from it Just a kind of nag that it has attained its mastery in Just pulling me away from here and bringing me towards it Just giving me the urge, To shut myself from this world Constantly trying to wake me up even when I am wide awake constantly trying to show me something that I am not able to figure Makes me feel like am missing on something I don't know what it is but it keeps pointing towards a direction which is unknown to me The voice has convinced me that there's nothing here this is just a phase...
