Beautiful
Treat to your eyes, something pleasant, something that touches your heart – some of the feelings that I associate with Beautiful. Few weeks ago, I realized Beautiful feeling in a very different way. An 8-year boy, who I used to see everyday but didn’t share any greetings, that day suddenly came to me and asked “Didi, I want to become engineer. And I want to go US. What should I do?” he asked anxiously Somebody must have told him I am in IT field, I thought to myself. Most of them associate IT with going US. I didn’t find it strange him asking me such questions. I replied cheerfully “Why do you want to go US?” “Coz I want to be rich. I will be rich in US” he replied confidently Wow! Now that’s what I call a misconception. I didn’t have the energy to debate with an 8 yr-old boy.
